Emma C.L. Pack Mrs. Emma Cordelia Lambert Pack, 83, 564-6th East, died Sunday midnight in a Salt Lake hospital. Death was attributed to causes incident to age and ill health resulting from a fractured hip suffered 10 years ago. Mrs. Pack was born Jan. 5, 1864, in Kamas, a daughter of John and Adelia Grosbeck Lambert. She was married to Don Carlos Pack, March 10, 1897, in the Salt Lake temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He died March 20 1931. She was an ardent worker in the LDS church. The family lived in Ioka, Duchesne county, many years moving about 12 years ago to Salt Lake City, where she had resided since. While a resident here she was active in the Eighth LDS ward until the time of her injury. She devoted much of her time to helping others. Survivors include two sons, Garrett C. and Sharon D. Pack, both of Salt Lake City; a brother and three sisters, Joseph Lambert, Roosevelt; Mrs Ann M. White, Marion, Summit county, Mrs. Mercy H. Lewis, Kamas and Mrs. Emmaline Carpenter, Park City, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the Kamas LDS ward chapel. Burial will be in Marion cemetery. Friends may call at 2128 S. State Wednesday evening, after which the body will be taken to the home of Wilford Lewis, Kamas, where friends may call Thursday from 11 a.m. to time of services.
