      Mercy H. L. Lewis
      KAMAS, Summit County, April 14 -- Mrs. Mercy Harriet Lambert Lewis, 82, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Mary J. Wilde, Tuesday at 5 a.m. of causes incident to age.

      A daughter of John and Adelia Groesbeck Lambert, she was born in Kamas March 21, 1866. She was married to Daniel B. Lewis in the Logan temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Jan 25, 1888. He died in 1941. She was active in LDS organizations until her health failed.

      Surviving are six sons, Denis Lewis, Salt Lake City, Morgan W., Scott A., Emery L., and John G. Lewis, Kamas; Mrs. Wilde, Mrs. Etheline Pack and Mrs. Addie Russell, all of Kamas; three sisters, Mrs. Ann White, Heber; Mrs. Elena Michie, Provo; and Mrs. Emeline Carpenter, Park City; 48 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

      Funeral services will be conducted in the Kamas LDS ward chapel Friday at 2 p.m. by Ile Russell, bishop. Friends may call at the Olpin mortuary, Heber, Wednesday and Thursday, and Thursday evening and Friday until time of services at the home of Mrs. Wilde.
