  • Notes
    • The Snow Family, Boston Transcript, Note 2685 pt IV, names her as mother of
Jemima Cutler. Says she was of Watertown.

"Brief Historical and Genealogical Sketches of the Earliest Proprietors and Pioneers of Lancaster Mass" by H.S. Nourse, vol. 1 (1883) in Lancaster Collection, Lancaster Town Library, page 129 says "James Cutler was of Watertown. For his second wife he married March 9, 1645 Mary King the widow of Thomas King the discoverer of Nashaway. In the petition of October 3rd 1645 (see ante p. 123) his name first appears as one of those interested in the plantation. THereafter we find no trace of his retaining any interest in it. He had a third wife and twelve children in all and died aged eighty eight years at Lexington about 1693. Bend (sp?) tells us his first wife Anna died September 1644 and that he married for a third wife Phebe Page and moved from Watertown to Lexington in 1648."
