    • While Lewis was away on a mission to England, Francis Smith Robbins died in August 1849 in either Winter Quarters, Nebraska or Pottawatamie County, Iowa.
    • Lewis Robbins. After completeing a mission to Las Vegas in 1856, Lewis settled in the area of St. George. He was killed February 10, 1864, while quarrying rock near there. Our Pioneer Heritage Vol.18 P. 135
