    Notes
    • Comments: Crumbie, Henrietta Elizabeth (female) Henrietta left Boston for Zion in May 1847. She went to St. Louis and worked there as a seamstress. She had difficulties as a greenhorn easterner in the West. Henrietta left for Winter Quarters, Douglas Nebraska, in 1848. She left to Utah in 1849. She camped all winter on City Creek. Her home was converted into a hospital with the large emigration of 1852. She then made the trip across the plains.
Henrietta moved to Smithfield, Cache Valley, Utah in 1860. Henrietta referred to her husband's plural wife as "our wife Electa." She later moved south to American Fork. Some members of the family had to "flee" to Mexico because of polygamy.
